Nickerson Elementary School
August 2018 Newsletter
Parents, Staff and Students,
It is hard to believe school will start in just a few days! I hope everyone has been able to have a little fun and relaxation over the last couple months. I, along with Mrs. Berridge, Mrs. Pedersen and Miss Hubele, had the opportunity to teach in CHINA for two weeks this summer and we can't wait to tell you all about it!
There will be a few new faces at NES this fall. We will have two new PreK teachers, as well as a new kindergarten, special education, 3rd, 4th and 6th grade teacher. Also, many teachers and staff will have new roles within the building. Teachers are already getting their classrooms ready for the upcoming school year and I know I can't wait to see all of our students again! . Again this year, we will have a "Meet Your Teacher Night" the evening before school begins. We hope parents will be able to stop in, meet their child's teacher and drop off school supplies between 5:30 and 6:30 Wednesday, August 15th.
Enjoy the last few weeks of summer and thanks for all you do to help your child succeed in school!
